ACC has been observing Anti-Corruption Week every year from March 26 to April 1, since 2011. The theme of the Anti-Corruption Week 2013 was: “The power of people will resist corruption.” The day started with placing wreaths led by ACC Chairman at the National Monument in Savar. Programmes on the eve of the Week were: anti-corruption message circulation through SMS over mobile phone, a week- long exhibition of satirical cartoons and posters at ACC Headquarters, human chain and rally with banners and posters against corruption, anti corruption poster, art competition, anti corruption sermons during Jumma prayer, and congress of 'Integrity Units' at Dhaka. Moreover, a rountable was organised on “Political commitment for anti corruption: Role of media and civil society” at ACC Headquarters. Leaders of major political parties, government officials, civil society members, and media personalities spoke in this rountable.
Similar programmes were undertaken in Corruption Prevention Weeks of 2011 and 2012 with different themes. In 2011 the slogan was: “Fighting together, we shall build a corruption-free Bangladesh”.
