Anti Corruption Commission (ACC), Bangladesh was resurrected from the ashes of Bureau of Anti Corruption (BAC) on 21 Nov 2004. ACC was born with the mission, a vow to make a difference to the Nation's anti corruption initiatives, and a fresh mandate. Although it vowed to begin with a new sence of purpose that would break away completely from decades of purfoctory wanderings of its predecessor but it initially could not make the desired impact. In February 2007, the ACC was reconstituted and started working with renewed vigor and impetus.
